China’s K12 Education Company Gaosi Education Received Funds From a Series D Round Funding Led by Tencent

China’s K12 education company Gaosi Education received funds from a Series D round funding led by Tencent and announced that the company would be transformed into Aixuexi Education Group. Use of the investment was undisclosed.

Established in 2009, Gaosi Education focuses on extra-class tutoring for primary and middle school students. It provides the latest news of primary and middle school education, learning methods, and one-on-one tutoring service. It has 50 campuses in Beijing and serves 80,000 students at a time. Its accumulated B end clients and students have exceeded 10,000 and 16 million respectively.
